Glass Morphism

Glassmorphism is a hot new design concept right now. It’s all throughout Dribbble, and even huge corporations like Apple and Microsoft use it. A semi-transparent background with an exquisite shadow and border is the key feature of this trend. However, the background has been blurred such that whatever is behind the background is beautifully “morphed” into the piece.

How to achieve this effect?

The effect itself is pretty simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The first is that the closer an object is to us, the more light it attracts, as with any card-based layout. It indicates it will be a little more transparent in this scenario. It’s vital to understand that you’re simply making the shape’s fill transparent, not the complete shape. When the fill is set to 100 percent and the object transparency is set to low, most design tools will simply disable the background blur.

Just copy the layer style to any shape or layer and have the ready-to-use glass morphism effect. I hope this helps you with your modern looking UI, UX, Design and Prototypes.

Thank you!
